The Overthrow of the Hawaiian Nation Viewer Feedback Last night I saw the video on the overthrow of the Hawaiian government and it broke my heart. I felt guilty watching the video because I realized we go to the islands to enjoy but never give a thought to the awful price paid by the Hawaiian people for our pleasure. Something must be done to recompense the Hawaiian people for the terrible wrong we inflicted upon them, when the only thing they ever did was accept and love us. Everyone who has a conscience should see it. Please, I beg of you, show this Hawaiian historical film over again and again. This is a great history lesson for American students.
