("A walking tour with Kupuna Rachel Nahale'elua Mahuiki")

Rachel Nahale'elua Mahuiki, one of Hanalei's most beloved kupuna (elders), leads Larry Kimura and a group of Hawaiian language teachers on a tour of Ha'ena, Kaua'i.

The trip includes visits to the wet and dry caves, the famous peak, Makana, and a walk on the reef where Rachel shows how to gather and eat seafood such as loli, wana, he'e and limu.

The program is a lively portrait of a vivacious woman who shares her experiences and, in the process, teaches Hawaiian values.

In Hawaiian language; no English subtitles.
